StillMinds is a product of Belscar Limited (UK). Belscar Limited is the data controller for StillMinds and this website.

What this page covers

The short version

• Your day-to-day notes, tasks, medication logs, mood, goals, and reflections are stored on your device by default.
• Optional AI features only send what is needed for that feature when you choose to use them.
• Joining early access shares your email (and name if you give one) with us so we can contact you about StillMinds.
• We do not sell your personal data.

Data on your device (the app)

StillMinds is designed to keep the heart of your “external brain” local. Typical on-device data includes:

• Tasks, quick captures, homework, and day plans
• Medication schedules and dose logs
• Mood check-ins and evening reflections
• Goals and progress notes
• App preferences and settings

If you enable app lock, Face ID / Touch ID / device biometrics stay on your device through the operating system. We do not receive your biometric templates.

Optional features that may leave your device

Some features need a network connection. They are optional, and you control when they run.

• Optional AI — when you use AI helpers (for example task breakdown, planning, note summary, reflection, or mood pattern help), the text or context needed for that request is sent to our cloud functions (Google Firebase / Cloud Functions in the UK/EU region we configure) so a model can respond. We do not use those requests to train public advertising profiles.
• Anonymous account for AI — AI features may create an anonymous Firebase Auth identity so requests can be secured and rate-limited. This is not a public profile.
• Calendar — if you connect a device calendar, StillMinds may read or write events you choose to sync. Calendar content stays in your device calendar provider according to that provider’s rules.
• Location — if you allow location, it is used for place-aware features you turn on. Location is not used for advertising. You can revoke access in system settings.
• Notifications — local reminders run on your device. Permission is optional.
• Purchases — if you subscribe, payment is handled by Apple or Google. RevenueCat may process a purchase identity so we can unlock paid features. We do not see your full card details.

Website and early access list

If you join the StillMinds early access list, we collect:

• Email address (required)
• Name (optional)
• When you signed up and that the source was the StillMinds page

We use this only to run the waitlist: confirm your signup, tell you when early access is ready, and answer related questions. We send mail through Resend. Notifications also go to our team inbox at team@belscar.com.

You can ask to be removed from the list at any time by emailing team@belscar.com.

On belscar.com we may use Google Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, analytics is not loaded.

Why we process data

• To provide StillMinds and keep the app working
• To run optional AI and sync features you choose
• To manage early access and support
• To improve the product in aggregate where we can
• To meet legal obligations

Where UK GDPR applies, we typically rely on contract / steps at your request (providing the service), consent (cookies, optional permissions, marketing where required), and legitimate interests (securing the service, understanding early-access demand) balanced against your rights.

Sharing

We share personal data only with processors who help us run StillMinds (for example hosting, email delivery, cloud functions, and app-store billing partners), and only as needed for those jobs. We do not sell personal data.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.

How long we keep it

• On-device app data stays until you delete it in the app or uninstall / clear app data.
• Early access emails are kept while the waitlist is active and for a short period after so we can handle opt-outs and support, then removed or anonymised when no longer needed.
• Security and delivery logs may be kept for a limited time to debug and protect the service.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to object or withdraw consent where we rely on it. For early access data held by us, email team@belscar.com. For on-device data, most control is in the app and your device settings.

UK residents can also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you have a complaint.

Children

StillMinds is aimed at teens and young adults, and was built with lived ADHD experience in a family setting. If you are under the digital consent age in your country, please use StillMinds with a parent or guardian. Do not submit someone else’s email to the waitlist without permission.

Changes

We may update this page as StillMinds grows (for example when accounts, cloud sync, or education features ship). We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for meaningful changes, aim to call them out in the app or by email when we can.
